Community Service Volunteer Information for 08-09

Guidelines

Requirements will be a minimum of 30 hours.

15 hours must be spent on the Parkview Youth Football Association cheerleading squads. (Team mom will sign the form).

An additional 15 hours can be obtained by approved community opportunities.

The camp for the Youth squads does not count towards any hours.

Volunteer projects will be posted with a sign-up sheet outside Mrs. Flowe’s classroom as opportunities become available. The volunteer activities will also be emailed. It will be on a first come basis. If you sign up, you will be expected to be there on time and ready to serve.

Each cheerleader is responsible for having their volunteer form signed by the representative they are volunteering with. See the forms at http://www.parkviewcheerleading.com/

If you know of a need in our community where volunteers could be used, please contact one of the committee members and we will try to help out. Our focus is on community and youth and providing our cheerleaders with chances to serve.

In mid-January, a request will be emailed for everyone to submit their hours earned so the service pins can be awarded at the banquet.
